JK Canning Electrical

You have 266 five-star Google reviews. Your own website can't agree on the number, it shows four different counts, and all four are wrong.

The goal

Most Perth electrical businesses your size sit between $30k and $100k a month. If the goal is holding $100k consistently rather than riding the season, this is about the gap between those two numbers.

What we found

1

You have 266 five-star Google reviews. Your website shows four different, all wrong, review counts.

Checked 16 September 2026: your live Google Business Profile shows 5.0 stars from 266 reviews. Your own /our-reviews/ page shows "200+," "230+" and "more than 230" on the same screen. Your homepage and footer say "255+." All four are wrong, all four are lower than the truth.

What it costs: The one page whose entire job is proving you're trustworthy contradicts itself in three different ways on one screen. A buyer comparing quotes reads that as sloppy and moves on.

The fix: Replace every hardcoded number with one live Google review widget. It updates itself and can never drift again.

271 location pages built, and every single one earns zero traffic

Ahrefs, checked 16 September 2026: 271 live suburb and council pages, zero earn a single organic visit. We read 14 of them, two carry word-for-word identical opening sentences with only the suburb swapped, and several serve suburbs 30-50km outside your actual service area.

What it costs: You have 271 pages that took real time to build, and Google trusts none of them because they're nearly indistinguishable from each other.

The fix: Pick 12-15 suburbs you genuinely service and rebuild those with real local detail. Redirect the rest.

100 people a month search your own business name. You don't rank for it.

Ahrefs, checked 16 September 2026: "jk canning electrical," 100 searches a month, does not appear in your top 100 results. Your entire brand visibility currently rests on your Google Business Profile catching those searches instead.

What it costs: If that one profile is ever suspended or merged, the business becomes very hard to find, even for people searching your exact name.

The fix: Get a proper page ranking for your own brand name. It should be an easy #1.

Your real 30-year story is sitting on a domain nobody visits, and your live site makes no years-in-business claim at all

Checked 16 September 2026: canelect.com.au, your old domain, still publishes "family owned and run business with over 20 years' experience," names owner Jon Beal (with the business since 1995, purchased it in 2008), and has higher domain authority than your current live site. None of that appears on jkcanning.com.au.

What it costs: A thirty-year track record under one owner is the single most persuasive trust asset you own, and it's stranded on a domain almost nobody sees.

The fix: Redirect canelect.com.au to your live site, then put the real years and the Jon Beal story on your homepage and about page.

Who we've helped: We recently helped Daniel from Nexus Electrical Co, a Perth electrician, with his Meta ad content and website landing pages. Real result: 16 leads at $41.57 cost per lead in his first campaign month.

Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.

I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.

If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.

If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.

Thanks,
Chris
